Friday of the １０th week.
Scaffold dismantlement. ―――――Continuation of article in preceding chapter

When I was doing something on the second floor, I heard some sound from the roof. It was the sound that the TV antenna fell.
When the eaves gutter was changed, a sheet metal workman wrapped the wire that was fixed the TV antenna prop around a pipe of the scaffold. It seemed to have been left in the state. The antenna that lost support had fallen when the scaffold was dismantled.
Immediately, the person of the construction company recovered it. I was relieved because he said, “It is safe now."

However, I discovered that the one side of the antenna twisted and damaged when I saw the roof the following Sunday on the second day.

Saturday of the １０th week.
Air conditioner piping

　I decided to tie to the outdoor machine the piping of the indoor unit of the air conditioner of the Japanese-style room because the scaffold had been dismantled.

I vertically installed the air conditioning pipe duct that I had bought at a do-it-yourself shop. I set it to the right under at the position in which the piping of the air conditioner penetrated through the wall. I inserted the pipe along the duct, and, and lowered it. I assembled the duct cover painted on cream color. I bent piping, tied to the piping joint of the outdoor machine, and completed the connection. To resume operation, it was necessary to dispel the air in the pipe. However, I do not have a vacuum pump. I decided to request it from a special workman later.It was the situation to date.

Monday of the 11th week.
Punch list work 1

I told the person of the construction company to repair the twisted antenna.

The detached wetted perimeter was installed again. The leg in the one side of the wetted perimeter protruded to the parking lot side. I was going to lay the groundwork with something later.

Tuesday of the 11th week.
Extermination of termites

I had requested the termite exterminating by the addition. The exterminating work ended in about three hours. It was too easy though paying processing expense of 90,000 yen. The wife seemed to be dissatisfied to see the hole made for the bathroom, saying that "Tiles were damaged".

I wanted them to explain beforehand though it might not be avoided to puncture it.

Wednesday of the 11th week.
Punch list work 2

The construction (Installing the double glazing with the adaptor) had been scheduled after the scaffold dismantled, was executed on this day.

It ended in about six hours.

When the Japanese style room was extended, the rain water tank was exposed. So a worker buried it again.

Moreover, the putting stone pavement that had been peeled off for the scaffold installation was returned.

Thus, almost all constructions　which I requested had been done.

Friday and Saturday of the 13th week.
Painting of veranda

Some works that I had not asked the painting contractor remained. One is the waterproof of veranda of the second floor painting.

 First of all, the surface of the veranda was cleaned with the deck brush. Next, sealing coat for tiles was painted, and the waterproofing paint was painted on finishing by me and my son.

Sunday of the 14th week.
Stand for an open veranda　

Because the legs of the open veranda had overflowed on the parking lot, I bought some blocks and intended to make a work stand with them. So, I assembled those blocks into flower bed shape. I also mended the surface difference of the house wall. So, I assembled those blocks into flower bed shape.

Wednesday of the 14th week.
Mortar paint

　The architect of the construction company came to home, and said "An appliances store that has the stock of the antenna of VHF was found yesterday, it will be exchanged in one of these days.”

 I painted mortar and fixed the blocks that became as the work stand for the legs of the open veranda I also mended the surface difference of the house wall foundation to be unremarkable.

Thursday of the 14th week.
Painting etc.

My son painted sealing coat for the tile on the surface of the parking lot. The wall around the parking lot was cleaned by high pressure water. But it was almost four month ago. It needed to be cleaned.

In the beginning, he painted sealing coat and then he finished it by the white water-based paint.

Planting

[Sazanka] was transplanted to the block of the work stand of new establishment. In the vacant place where the Sazanka had been planted, I planted the red Robin which had been kept in a container. Thus, though the house had been extended, all plants had their own place.
